An author can invite another writer to join a project as a coauthor. Storyliner provides a way to discuss collaboration terms and record the conditions accepted by both sides. The invitation page in the writer and co-writer areas contains the negotiations. Users can reply and discuss details until they reach an agreement. The author can propose revenue sharing, intellectual property rights, and attribution order. A second invitation for the same project uses the same conditions until the first invitation is declined or withdrawn. Invitation details are shown to the invited writer with the project information. Collaboration participants may see the personal contact information needed for coauthor communication. After acceptance, a contract is created and sent to both parties for signing. Once signed, it becomes the basis for earnings splitting and project access. Storyliner does not provide legal advice or attorney services. Legal questions, disagreements, and future conflicts must be resolved outside the platform.
