We introduced short video clips for illustrating books, allowing creators to create, manage, and reuse video illustrations throughout their projects while keeping each book’s media organized and accessible.

We introduced Artifact Lineage for series writing, allowing authors to bring artifacts forward from previous books, connect existing current artifacts to earlier versions, and review read-only lineage pages that preserve the history of characters and graphics across a series.

We introduced Draft Book Feedback for readers. Readers who bought a book while it is still being written can select a passage and leave feedback directly on that quoted text, while authors and co-authors can review and reply inside the draft workflow before the book is finalized.

We have recently formed a new development team after a challenging and unpredictable hiring process. However, we are now confident that we have a strong team in place.

It has been two years since the founders first began considering the idea for our product. We are now close to releasing the first official version. As we prepared for this first release, we discovered that the solution we were using to manage data access was not sufficient for our needs. As a result, we had to completely redesign our data access architecture. It was a grueling and time-consuming process, but it allowed us to implement features that we had originally planned for future versions into the app. Although the platform is still undergoing thorough testing, we are closer to being market-ready than we had anticipated. We are eagerly looking forward to the moment when we can start acquiring our first users.

The team is doing well and continuing with development, while also expressing our support for Ukraine and making changes to our product plan related to Russia.

We are currently working on fine-tuning data access and simultaneously developing the front end.

We have encountered our first major technical issue, which requires us to completely redesign the modules responsible for data access. While this will take some time, it will allow us to have more detailed control over data access.:)

We are excited to begin the process of hiring our first development team! We have also refined our product backlog to clarify our approach to the minimum viable product.

We are planning to release the second version of our website and integrate it with our tools.

March 18, 2021 marks the official incorporation date for our company. The prototype is about 75% complete, and we have secured our first investor.

We have finished designing the primary functions and screens for the prototype, which is now about 60% complete.

We have updated our product backlog and included new functions. We have also assessed the effort required for each part of the project and recorded it, so we can now track our development velocity, the percentage of work completed, and the error rate.

We have developed and deployed the architecture for our platform. We have chosen to use AWS due to its comprehensive range of features and have selected a serverless technology approach to keep things lightweight for our startup business. We have also established a prototype backlog.
