Creating a writer account gives you access to writing tools and account options. You can set a portrait as your avatar and choose a pen name for readers. You also need to set up a writer email address. This second account email is used to communicate with possible coauthors. It is visible only to coauthors, and the platform does not use it to communicate with you. The trial period is mandatory because we want you to make a well-informed decision before subscribing as a writer.
