Transcript

Character cards help writers use the full planning functionality of Graphical Storyliner. They are created in the Artifact Management Board, or AMB, available from the top-right switch. AMB manages artifacts used directly or indirectly in a project. A character card is a private planning artifact that can track identity, relationships, development, and scenes. Other artifacts, such as text, images, or video clips, may be used in the book. Use the top menu to create a character card and enter its basic information. You can upload an externally created image or use the platform AI graphic service to generate a portrait. The portrait is added to the card and saved in AMB as a separate image artifact for possible reuse as an illustration.
